Physics

“To invent something, all you need is imagination and a big pile of junk”

Albert Einstein, Theoretical Physicist

KS3

Key Stage 3 Physics lessons cover a range of topics including energy changes, charges and transfers; motion and forces; waves; electricity and electromagnetism; matter and astronomy. Topics include expert tuition on the scientific method, experimental skills, analysis, evaluation and measurement.

KS4

Key Stage 4 Physics lessons involve acquiring knowledge and understanding of facts, terminology, concepts, principles and practical techniques. Through a series of short topics students will be assisted to apply their understanding and evaluate unfamiliar information. Students are advised to be studying KS4 level Maths and English to get the most out of these lessons.

Explorer

Explorer lessons give the chance to go ‘off grid’ and look into those nooks and crannies not featured on a usual school curriculum. What do you want to learn about? Nanotechnology, black holes, atom bombs, gravity..? Get in touch and let us know your passion!

Physics

Journey through space and time...

Fantastic physics takes you on a journey through space and time as you learn all about energy, forces, magnets and waves.

How many planets are in our solar system? Why do they orbit the Sun? How do magnets work? What’s inside a nuclear bomb? How does wifi work? What’s 5G all about? How many forms of energy are there?

Learning about Physics can lead to all sorts of interesting jobs such as:

  • Astronomer
  • Geologist
  • Meteorologist
  • Sound engineer
  • Technologist
  • Telecommunications researcher
