Description
These live tutorials will help IGCSE Biology students approaching the end of Unit 2 consolidate their learning. The tutorials will be delivered on Bitpaper to allow for fluid movement between concepts and topics. Students will have access to the Bitpaper after the tutorial for future reference.
Each ticket is for admission to ONE tutorial as follows:

Weds 26th July: Unit 1 revision – plant/animal/fungi/protoctist/virus/bacteria
Tues 1st August: Molecules – diffusion, active transport, enzymes, food etc
Weds 2nd Aug: Plants – photosynthesis, transpiration, auxins, leaf structure, limiting factors etc
Tues 8th Aug: Animals – heart, kidneys, lungs, blood, immune system etc
Weds 9th Aug: Maths for Biology – percentages, standard form, graphs etc
Tues 15th Aug: Improving your exam technique – command words, mark schemes, long answer Qs, data Qs etc

The Zoom link will be the same for all sessions. Student Zoom names must match their own names to guarantee access to the tutorial.
TESTS: Tickets for the marking and grading of an additional GCSE level test can be bought from the homepage (in the section on marking, feedback and reporting).
Your Tutor
Andy Milson BSc, PGCE
Andy is a qualified and experienced science teacher who has worked as both a secondary school teacher and a private tutor since 2009. He has also worked in research for the NHS and in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). Andy’s love of science started as a child when he used to create fact files about plants and animals. Andy is interested in all types of science from Astronomy to Zoology and likes to help his students link their learning to everyday life. Andy is a co-founder of Tutor Led Learning.
